As James has announced, I’ll be guest-blogging at Postmodern Conservative, together with Helen Rittelmeyer, Will Wilson, and Shawn Macomber, for at least a couple of weeks beginning this Sunday. During this time, I plan to solve all the world’s problems and triumph in any intra-group debates of which I am a part. If I succeed, I have been promised an honorary Yale degree, or at least a titular membership in their Mafia.
There will be some cross-posting, of course, but I promise also to follow James’s lead and advertise over here anything that is posted solely over there, as follows:

Head over there and join us. It’s sure to be fun.

Can I suggest that you should offer a lucid, concise explanation of PoMoConservatism? Because I am still not clear what it is. I kinda get it, but not really. Or could you at least suggest that to Mr. Poulos.
I don’t have much hope because explaining it might be against the entire PoMo movement.
Anyway, break a leg.
You may have to put that one to James, or – perhaps better – read the Lawler essay that I take to have been the inspiration for the term. Perhaps I’ll give it a try, though, if I have the time.
What? Deterritorialize the Yale Mafia? What will it do to our music scene??
It’ll open up the Left Coast to it, that’s what. Localism is so passe, anyway.
